A proud resident of Joliet, Illinois, born and raised in a strong Union Family, Suzanna Ibarra has witnessed the day to day struggles of fellow community members. In the last ten years, she has devoted her work to provide a voice for those who feel they have not been heard. Suzanna, currently is staffed as a Health Equity Navigator and serves on the Health and Human Services Division for Public Housing of Joliet. She has been on the front lines of Covid making sure her community has every resource available.
Elected as a member of Joliet Township Trustee in 2021, Suzanna has continued her strong engagement on the front lines meeting the needs of her community. Listening to Joliet residents, she came to the decision she will better serve her constituents bringing their voice to the table of Joliet City Council. She seeks affordable and clean water, equitable housing.
